How
soon should I order?
Placing an order with The Pulp Studio is a quick and easy process!
Wedding invitations and all formal invitations should generally be
mailed out within 6-8 weeks of the anticipated event. Once your proof
has been approved, our general invitation production process takes
approximately 4-6 weeks. Oftentimes we can get your invitations out
quickly. But, depending on the size and intricacy of the project,
we may need additional time beyond 6 weeks (up to 8 weeks) to complete
your wedding invitations. Your wedding invitations, wedding stationery
and formal event invitations should be ordered 4-6 months prior to
the date of the event. It is never too early to order your invitations.
Custom made wedding invitation require additional time to produce,
including the consultation, so we recommend you order as early as
possible.
How
long will it take to complete my invitations?
After you submit an order inquiry and provide all necessary information
(wording, typestyle, motifs, etc.), we will provide a proof and an
agreement letter, which needs to be signed off and returned to us
by the date indicated on the proof. We require you send us all necessary
After receipt of proof approval and initial deposit, we request you
give us 4-6 weeks from start to finish - to complete
your order (wedding invitations, wedding stationery including placecards,
menus and ceremony programs). The most time consuming part of the
invitation process is production, so the sooner the proof is approved,
the sooner we print! If your invitations are needed earlier than 4-6
weeks, and you require a rush job, contact
us immediately. Also, if your invitations require imported fabrics
or imported papers we may need additional time for overseas shipment
to arrive. We will notify you beforehand should this occur.
Note
that a $60 rush fee will apply for orders needed earlier than 4 weeks.
Due to the fine details and craftsmanship of a custom made wedding
invitation, we do not accept rush orders for custom invitation

do I order?

us with your invitation details. Please understand that we are a small
studio and are often busy with other orders. If your call goes to
voicemail, please do leave us a message or email us. We absolutely
return all messages.
For
all of our invitations a 50% deposit is required before production
begins. This can be paid by check, money order, or by credit card
through Paypal, our payment system. This will be deducted from your
final order total, but is not refundable if your order is cancelled.
The remainder of your total is due prior to shipping. We will send
you an email invoice.
What is the whole order process?
The invitation process is approximately 4-6 weeks and consists of
the following:

Wording
for your wedding invitations and/or components
main invitation:
type of event, name of person(s) event is for, host's names, event
time, place, date. Reply Card information: reply
by date (you should generally check with the caterer on when a

Note:
Accuracy of your wedding invitations text depends on you! Please be
as specific as possible regarding the event.
Based
on the information given, we will generate a proof for your invitations.
(General layout with your choice typefaces & motifs. This
is not an assembled invitation)
A
generic proof will be emailed to you in a .pdf for approval. This
proof is just a layout as to how your wording will appear on your
invitation. If you are anticipating the outcome of your wedding
invitations we can produce a complete and assembled invitation
for a $20 fee.
After
proof approval, we will send you an agreement letter, along with
a final copy of the proof. You can note revisions directly on
the proof sheet. Both the final proof, along with the revisions
(if necessary) and the agreement letter need to be signed and
mailed or faxed back to us with a
50% deposit. If paying by credit card, you will be emailed your
invoice.
We
will then begin production on your order based on the final proof.
It is IMPORTANT to carefully review the proof to make sure it
meets your expectations - wording, font, motifs. It is your responsibility
to provide accurate information and wording. Your jobs will be
printed exactly as shown on proof. We will not be responsible
for overlooked details on your part.
Invitations
will ship out on the day of completion by USPS. The remaining
50% balance plus shipping is due at that time. Note that payments
made by personal check will have a ten day hold.
What
are your printing methods?
At this time we can only offer flat ink printing for your invitations.
Depending on the type of papers, we can also customize ink colors.
What
options are available?
There are many options available to customize your order. For nominal
fees, we can print
your reply and main envelopes with your return address, customize
ink colors, and add on different styles of ribbon, raffia and ties.
We can incorporate eyelets, stitches, custom photos, pressed flowers,
colored stones, leather, velvet- options are endless!
Can
I get a free sample?
Because of the costs associated with producing each wedding invitation,
we do not offer free samples. Samples are available for purchase and
are encouraged prior to placing an order, to get a feel for the various
textures, dimensions and the unique personality of each invitation.

. Your sample purchases (minimum of $20) will be credited towards
your wedding invitations package should you decide to purchase.
